I find many men and women in their 30- 50's range who have careers, marriage, family, friend, and yet look around and question how do I make my Catholic faith part of all of this to bring new strength and meaning to my entire life.

I think a program on connecting the dots would serve a great purpose as many in this age bracket are also separated from the Church or only slightly connected and poorly educated on the faith as well. this leaves them open to the protestant megachurches who seem to focus on how to unite their lives under their faith. I was of course standing in the back when I noticed during the consecration the 4 elderly ushers kneeling without the assistance of kneelers or rails on the hard tile floor. Even more powerful was watching as they struck their chests with their fists and I later learned said softly "mea culpa, mea culpa, mea maxima culpa". So nice to see it's part of the new translation! A little less hand holding and arm waving and a little more humility and reverence is an awesome way to remind us of the respect the mass and our God deserves!amy fnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2312222472717527597.post-67491846985874093562011-12-27T13:46:13.923-05:002011-12-27T13:46:13.923-05:00I was discussing the story of Sodom and Gomorrah w...I was discussing the story of Sodom and Gomorrah with my youngest daughter and she was aghast at the story, puzzled at Abraham.
