Mom and her five siblings have been summoned to the hospital to keep watch and vigil with their father, my grandfather. He's been in since last Friday, received the Last Rites, and now the waiting has begun.
Any prayers for my grandfather, Edward, would be greatly appreciated. Oh, and keep Viola, his dear wife of 63 years there, too. I have a feeling that when one goes, the other will not be too far behind.
UPDATE: It seems Grandpa has stabalized somewhat over night, they sent the family home to get some rest, but it seems a long weekend is in store.

They are in my prayers! I just found out that my roommate's grandma died today (she was in very bad shape) and right after her death, her husband went too (he was in good shape).
I will keep bot in prayer too!
Osgood - I am so sorry to hear about your roommate's grandparents. When you have a chance, post their names on the Purgatory Page so we can pray for them.
I know when my Grandmother died, my Grandfather was so disrought (sp?). She was 16 and he was 21 when they got married... practically their entire lives were spent together. I bet it would have been difficult to remember a time when they weren't married. (wow - just the thought of that makes me smile)

Praying Fr - it must be the 'season' for it, my own grandmother has just had a stroke.
Any prayers for her would be gratefully appreciated.
