Lovely. I never take pictures inside a church with a flash either--too irreverent and it makes everything appear with an artificial "flatness." I would rather have the pictures a bit blurred. A tripod is a good idea, however--just too hard to carry around.
I had the privilege of attending the VIgil Mass at the Cathedral (I was visiting from VIrginia) and it was just beautiful. The entire sacrifice of the Mass was holy and uplifting. 3 Baptisms, 5 confirmations, music that was so beautiful and enhancing to the entire worship of Our Lord. W O W. It was a blessing to be there! Miss Meg
I am Fr. Kyle Schnippel and currently am the Director of Vocations for the Archdiocese of Cincinnati. I believe there is a tide of vocations to the priesthood and religious life waiting to happen, and as the faithful continue to grow in their own pursuit of holiness, these vocations will flourish.
For a highlight of posts over the last year or so, check the 'Top Ten' posts, which includes homiles, reflections, and even a version of my own vocation story.
